four day weekend yippee

so today was malea's last soccer game, it was FREEZING, but i think it kept the girls moving because they played pretty well, malea scored her second goal of the season, it was AWESOME!! we had the end of the season party the girls really love their coach max and it was an awesome party they had so much fun, a dad made a cool slide show that was fun to watch. we still have two more days to sleep in!!

It's been a while

Not a whole lot of excitement, the Jaquars lost a game 2 weeks ago and man those girls were mad, first loss of the season. Last week they tied and Malea scored her first goal this year, she was pretty happy because she wanted to make sure she got one in before the end of the season. This Sunday is our last game and team party, Malea and I both agree it was a fun season but we're glad it's over, 2 practices a week plus games on Sunday and toss in girl scouts every other week was a lot to do. We're taking winter sport season off to rest (and she might take a hip hop class).
Otherwise we're looking forward to our FOUR day weekend this week and NEXT week too for thanks giving, yahoo!

laundry-terrific

So this week was long, and I am not sure why because it was only a 4 day week for us. Malea is doing well in school, soccer's good too. The weather's been crappy all week, there was a windstorm on Wednesday night. We hung out with Caylee, Careena and Joey that night, their mom and dad had a date night!
Malea had a girl scout sleep over on friday night, she had a ton of fun and i did too. i stayed the night and dog sat Tucker at Katy's and used her super fancy washer and dryer. yesterday we spend the day at Sheri's house because Julie and Rudy and the kids came up for a visit, it was really good to see them.
Today we just lounged around a lot and had a soccer game in the rain.

Scraptastic weekend

Malea spent the weekend at camp and had a blast! She was tired, but she still ran her heart out at soccer! I am thankful that we have tomorrow off, so she can rest and sleep in (plus I don't mind sleeping in as you all know).
SO what did I do with all my free time? I made friends at the scrapbook store! Seriously I spent 6 hours there friday (and only 15.00) and 5 hours there on Saturday (and spent a mere 20.00) It was so fun, I finished an entire book for Malea, we are current now, which is cool.
I am going to bed now, but tomorrow I am going to attach pics of all my scrap pages and try to link a soccer video. the game was a little weird b/c they played on turf so the ball moved a lot faster than usual, the girls really ran a lot (but won the game as usual!)

First post on a Sunday

malea just had a soccer game, her team is undefeated so far this season. we're having a fun weekend, jessi, kevin, aidan, and elliott came up to visit us, the boys are enamoured withmalea. the Lindells got a taste of seattle weather because par for the course, it started raining during the game!
we've got a short week, friday and monday off coming up-- malea is going to overnight camp friday and saturday and I am taking my high school kiddos to a ropes course on friday!
